Looking around nervously while you try to think of an excuse, you notice Shadow sneaking out of the tavern. Seeing this as a good way to avoid the subject, you bring this to Cyan's attention.

What? Hold it! Thou hast not yet paid!

Shadow quickly exits the tavern, with Cyan in hot pursuit. Phew, that was a close call. And with Cyan out of the way, it doesn't look like you'll be bothered anymore.
